Data Management in the Hybrid Cloud

Objectives:
The most valuable asset in the world today is no longer oil, it’s data. Businesses are harvesting consumer data to create new products, governments are digitally partnering with citizens to crowdsource solutions to civic issues, and hackers are constantly searching for new ways to monetize stolen data. The evolution of data management continues as businesses seek solutions that allow them to move data freely and securely from their private data centers to near-cloud solutions to cloud based hyperscaler platforms. We’ll talk about the drivers moving businesses to the cloud and how we are building technologies to help data move freely and securely in a hybrid cloud world.

Targeted Attendees:
Faculty, administrators, and those interested in trends in data management who are seeking education offerings to augment, supplement, or add to their curriculum.
